What is perforated tape?
- MAXCOOL’s perforated tape allows air flow and reduces hot spots caused by regular tapes which bake in the sun.
- As close to 20 % of a shirt is covered by reflective tape – this causes heat to build up along the lines of the tape when the wearer is in the sun, causing heat-stress and fatigue. MAXCOOL’S perforated tape alleviates heat buildup by allowing air to flow through the tape, keeping you cooler, without sacrificing the safety of high-visibility reflective tape.
- And best of all, MAXCOOL's perforated tape is just as hard wearing as their non-perforated 100-wash tape!
What’s so good about Maxcool fabrics?

- The new Vortex range has an even higher thread count which offers more abrasion resistance, tear resistance and provides a softer smoother finish.
- Test results on the colour of our Vortex fabrics show our colours are bright and long lasting:
